nah that image's point is that pokemon uses the same animals with certain similarities. they're definitely unique but of course they used some of those creatures as direct inspiration and direct things to rip from, which isn't some kind of secret. fairly common knowledge that DQ5 was the direct inspired of Pokemon so of course it's gonna be the direct inspiration of the monsters.

palworld goes a step further with some stuff that def looks the same but it's a harder fight since there's probably enough differences anyway. that was always the argument then and still is now.

but if nintendo can win on one thing, maybe they'll move into winning on other things (like TRE says) after having proven something in court. hence, patent trolling like this.
