Exactly. This. Why'd he had to say that. I know I shouldn't worry about this because the girl already rejected him. He works in a warehouse where according to him theres a caste system of sorts, placing her at the highest rank and him at the lowest. Those at the top often overlook those beneath them. So I take it as "Im sticking with you because you're all I can afford".
