A world war is just that, a war involving countries throughout the world. The Cold War did exactly that, as it involved all the NATO countries, all the Warsaw pact countries, China, Japan, Korea, Australia, most countries in the middle east, as well as central and South American countries. And the GWOT was the same. NATO countries, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Iran, multiple countries in Africa, etc. Just because posters here didn't see their own cities turned into rubble while they were alive doesn't mean that there wasn't a war. A lot of Korean grandparents can attest to that. And Cuban refugees in Florida. And Vietnamese refugees in Australia. --- "History shows again and again that nature points out the folly of man.
