I mean, it's not super hard. If you take all the important stuff combined it's still less material than a lot of ongoing TV shows.

The only shows that have significant narrative ties to the movies so far are Falcon and the Winter Soldier (6 episodes), WandaVision (9 episodes), Loki (12 episodes), Hawkeye (6 episodes), and Ms. Marvel (6 episodes). So 39 episodes total so far of important stuff.
There is no reason to devote time to watching shows you would otherwise be uninterested in. 4-5 hours is a significant amount of free time to use after work and chores.

I will not be watching every phase 4 movie and show to watch whatever the next culmination is. In place of movies like Thor 2 and Ant Man 3, I will be watching other movies and shows during my TV time. And I will tune in to the MCU when the good and interesting stuff comes out. There is a 99% chance I will understand and enjoy all MCU I consume without doing background research and homework.
