Topic | Can leftist spaces get young men away from right wing ones? |
NatsuSama 01/11/25 4:33:03 PM #28: | Sayoria posted... The thing is, this can transfer over to these same beliefs that 'all black people are bad', 'all trans people are bad', 'all mexicans are bad'.... etc. They just fail to see how the same people they attack face this kind of shit day in and day out, and these people try to still be upstanding citizens and are still attacked for being who they are.Problem number 1 there is the false assumption that all of them also think trans are bad, or whatever you insert. Like what you are saying in your first paragraph works both ways. Too many fall into this trap when asking the question to how to win a base over. If your genuine intention is to win them over.... accusing them of believing something that they genuinely don't isn't winning them over. For the same reason one shouldnt point to one black person, and then paint all of us as bad. Same applies to many other groups such as immigrants, white people, etc etc. Or in this case, young men. Pointing at actual bigoted young men doesn't mean it's correct to assume all young men who voted Trump in 2024 think immigrants are bad, or hate women, or any other assumed belief you think they voted for Trump for. Especially when many people voted for Trump for things like the economy, and for example don't know what a tarrif is. TLDR, So to answer this topic question, start with tackling this question as if all young men aren't a monolith. So why we lost some this election is not a monolith reason. Assuming all of them hate immigrants or LGBT or whatever you want to insert your assumptions..... aren't helping if you genuinely want to win them back. --- WAAAH, I CAN'T BEAT THIS GUY WITH HIS TACTICS, I'M GONNA CALL IT SPAM AND CONDEMN HIM FOR USING IT ...
