The article flat out mentions that some of the regulations being suspended actually lead to more fire resistant houses too.

  1. The article says nothing of the sort.
  2. One can make a home more fire-resistant by adding asbestos to it's walls, roof, and insulation. Of course, there is the near certainty of getting cancer if asbestos dust is inhaled. That's currently against regulations, but many regulations are now suspended, as the article states. So does that include allowing asbestos now?
