I'm sorry, but this administration has been chopping away at democracy nonstop since Trump entered office so it's hard to keep track. What is the exact thing that happened two days ago that you think is the tipping point?

I'm not mocking you or anything, these are scary times. I honestly don't know what the point of no return is, or whether we've crossed it yet. I just want to know what you mean specifically.

This one to me feels like the biggest push of the lot to centralize all power to the President. I've spent the last day stocking up on cheap non-perishables because of this one, of all the orders so far this one feels the largest step towards potentially crashing the global economy (plus the rhetoric being thrown at Europe and Ukraine is also deeply concerning and feels like another major escalation).
