Topic	Are there any world leaders that are fine being addressed by their given name?
adjl 03/07/25 9:50:39 AM #8:	I have noticed that people tend to call female US presidential candidates by their first names instead of their last. That's a very small sample size, and there's a practical reason not to just call Hillary "Clinton," but it sticks out when "Kamala" and not "Harris" is running in a race that includes Trump, Vance, and Walz. Even in Hillary's case, people routinely just called Dubya "Bush" or "Bush Jr" despite there being another, recent President Bush, but where both Bushes had the same first name and Hillary isn't Clinton Jr that's not necessarily a great comparison. --- This is my signature.
