It's true that the Democrats as they currently exist and politics as they currently exist will not be able will not be able to fix the damage being done now in 4 years, it's harder to build than destroy. But that doesn't mean that this is a winning message or that it's the only option.

The slow pace of change is not going to be enough. Politics that only slow the pace of decline is not enough and right wing populists thrive in that environment. When the only prospect for significant change comes from the right, that's when we often get fascism.

The Democratic Party that wins next time, if there is a next time, is going to have to be a transformed party. You can post stuff like this all you want, but it's not going to work. That's not politics. You have to promise change and plan to get there. There's more than enough power to create drastic change and all the safeguards and rules don't mean anything if you amass enough power at the right points, as we're seeing. The right is doing it through money and media control. Democrats MUST do it through working class power. That's the only thing that even has the potential to get us out of this.
