Unfortunately, the working class is comprised of people who have been indoctrinated to despise Democrats no matter what they do. It doesn't help that they have little to no idea how actual governing works and expect things to be super quick and efficient. And besides, there is little point in forming solidarity with people who refuse to change their bigoted ways and do better.

True that a lot of people have been brainwashed and that it'll be hard to change. But it hasn't even been tried in any type of organized way. There's a lot of mass political education and detoxifying that'll need to happen, but I think it can be done.

It's possible for people to drop the bigotry if you understand the source and cut if off. Some people just suck and won't change for sure. But there's millions who are just contrarians, who have terrible sources and no one they respect challenging their narratives, people who are in scarcity mindsets, people who think they are fighting their true enemies by hating black people or trans people etc. I think it's possible to convert or deactivate enough of them for significant change to happen and quickly. We're in a crisis moment, now's the time to do it, both because we have to and because these are the times where minds can change most easily.
