But think of all the science it would make harder. Right now the metric system being a game of tens is really good and easy. Imagine having to change everything to 12mm = 1cm 120cm = 1m. Or wed have to make a new unit entirely.

plus the gargantuan effort it would take to change street signs, laws, signs, textbooks, ..

Uh a 'metric' like system using base twelve would be easier to use in science than base ten. No more one-third being 0.33333

For that matter, 360 degrees is suboptimal; suggest 240 degrees for full circle. Where bisections are common up to four times, i. e. dividing a circle into sixteen parts, then a circle with 240 degrees divides evenly into sixteen parts.
