With Kujas placement set, Tidus would need to finish 10th place or better in this contest in order to pass Kuja and re-enter the top 10 overall in stats.

However, there are two newcomers to stats who also have a fighting chance at the overall top 10, namely Alphinaud, but Venat still has a remote chance as well.

Alphinaud would need to finish 20th place or better in this contest to pass Kuja. Although the true magic number for Alphinaud is 18th place, as that will guarantee a debut placement in the top 10 overall, no matter what Tidus or Venat does.

Venat would need to finish 2nd or better to pass Kuja.

There is actually a scenario where Tidus, Alphinaud, and Venat could all finish tied for 10th overall in stats, which would be hilarious.

Of course, Kuja can remain in 10th place, assuming Tidus doesnt make the top 10, Alphinaud doesnt make the top 20, and Venat doesnt reach the finals.

It should be noted that both Alphinaud and Venat have yet to place in the top 20, so they would need to have personal best finishes to have a shot at cracking the overall top 10.
