Yes. Because, as far as gameplay goes, they are the best looter shooter games on the market by a wide margin. The story, though, has gotten progressively worse each game, and they have made the annoying decision to make multiple playthroughs mandatory in order to reach max level.

I never got the sense that you have to do multiple playthroughs to hit max level unless you are just speed running the story. Hell with TTWL I hit max level well before the end, same with 3.
