Any tips for someone (me) playing in their first MTG event tomorrow (sealed final fantasy pre-release)?

I am no stranger to card games (quite successful playing the one piece TCG competitively, and making top ranks in hearthstone / legends of runeterra back in the day), but only played a little bit of MTG online and never played paper magic.

As a result i feel like i can probably evaluate individual card strength in a vacuum quite well, but totally unsure about the broader meta, or whether certain strategies do better in this sort of format. From what Ive read online i gather i should largely if not exclusively stick to two colors and play 17 lands.
