Bitto 06/18/25 7:39:24 AM #1: | Rules 1. You may vote up to 4 entries that fit the prompt. 2. No alts. 3. No deleting or editing posts; though, editing posts shortly after you post is fine. 4. If you change your vote, clearly indicate that you are changing a previous vote. Same for adding or subtracting picks. 5. In general, if there are two picks that can be considered the same product (i.e. Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle), I will combine them. 6. If a vote is vague, I will pick the first available choice that best matches the vote (i.e. "Mario" for Wii Games becomes Super Mario Galaxy). 7. I will post the parameters of each Rushmore topic. Other than that, feel free to vote however you like and based on any criteria that best fits the "Mount Rushmore" of that topic. 8. If a vote doesn't fit the topic, it will count as a blank vote. 9. You may nominate as much as you want and have an unlimited amount of seconds for established nominations. 10. Every Sunday, I'll post the schedule for next week. I will pick based on the number of nominations. Any ties will be determined by RNG. A lot of debate was had on Tetris and where exactly it fits, as well as future generational issues. Tetris landed on the Rushmore with ease, but now I have more clear rules on what fits each generation. While this was mostly a runback of the NES Games Rushmore, Dragon Quest was actually able to score a spot on it, albeit barely. Last 5 Rushmores Fictional Evil Ensembles: Team Rocket / Legion of Doom / Brotherhood of Mutants / FOXHOUND Emo Songs: My Chemical Romance - Welcome to the Black Parade / Panic! At The Disco - I Write Sins Not Tragedies / Linkin Park - Crawling / Jimmy Eat World - The Middle Superheroes (Non-Marvel, Non-DC): Spawn / Invincible / Hellboy / Sailor Moon Ice Cream Flavors: Vanilla / Chocolate / Strawberry / Mint Chocolate Chip Video Game Dads: Kratos / Barret Wallace / Joel Miller / Bowser This Week's Rushmores Thursday: 5th-Generation Video Games Friday: 6th-Generation Video Games Saturday: 7th-Generation Video Games Sunday: 8th-Generation Video Games Next Themed Week: July 7 - July 13 (Songs of the Decade) Today's Parameters You must pick video games from the 4th generation of video games. For the 4th generation, it must be either a game from the below consoles/mobile devices OR a game released from 1990 to 1995 (including those years). For the latter, the games do not have to be on consoles: PC, arcade, and other forms of gaming are acceptable. TurboGrafx-16 Nintendo Game Boy Sega Genesis Atari Lynx Sega Game Gear Neo Geo Nintendo SNES TurboExpress Ports are fine, but they should be based on how they are on the above console/mobile list or the above year range. I would still accept games that don't necessarily fit this parameter, as long as it's from the previous or next generation due to how fluid the generational lines are. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Games_on_fourth-generation_consoles https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_generation_of_video_game_consoles https://vgsales.fandom.com/wiki/Fourth_generation_of_video_games https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/MediaNotes/The16BitEraOfConsoleVideoGames --- https://i.imgur.com/9sOWQAf.jpeg ...
