No. I mean I work at Walmart and our Store Manager makes well over 6 figures. But, getting promoted to SM is actually hard. It's insanely competitive. Hell, even getting into first level salaried mgmt is pretty difficult. It's also a ton of work.

I've been a Team Lead and it was stressful as hell. Fortunately when my shift ends it ends. Our salaried managers are on call 24/7 to deal with problems. Before he quit he used to tell me about having to do mandatory corpo meetings on his day off. 50-60 hour weeks with 50 being mandatory. He also had unrealistic expectations pushed upon him and thus had to push his workers to go faster causing resentment.
