Musicians didn't fall off, the industry did. They force everything they put on the radio to have mass appeal through a handful of specific songwriters who are experts at producing hits. A clear cut example of this is when kpop really took off for a moment. I get kpop is not everyone's cup of tea but it was at least fresh and unique as far as pop goes. But then after it took off, kpop industry got itself involved with American music producers and the kpop started to sound like everything else. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
