Listening to a preacher scream at people that they're going to a made up place of fire, suffering, and agony for doing things that offend said cult. Drinking the "blood" and eating the "body" of their supposed lord. Singing songs about and worshiping a being they scarce understand. Stoning/admonishing/condemning nonbelievers. Believing in a fairy tale that their lord was killed and resurrected three days later. A woman who is a supposed virgin giving birth to their messiah. And all of this nonsense in a handy dandy pamphlet and/or "good" book.

Son, if none of that sounds like a cult to you, then I don't know what to tell you. A cult by any other name is worthy of the same ridicule and mockery as any other.
