My assumption when this launches that a lot of people with try it out and realize how slow and grindy it is and then quit, especially people that never experienced classic. Maybe I'm wrong but who knows.

I remember how painfully slow Warrior>Fighter>Crusader>Hero class was. You don't get any movement skills or flashy looking attacks until 4th job. Combo Attack/Panic/Coma are kinda cool 3rd job skills but you are ultimately still using Power Strike and Slash Blast from 1st job until 4th job when you finally get Brandish. Other classes with haste or teleport are going to be much more popular for classic maple.
