I kind of feel like the "most" "dangerous" people in US politics are the ones politically engaged enough to treat it like a team sport their team must win, but not engaged enough to actually know s*** about f*** beyond vibes or headlines. And, honestly, I'm pretty sure that's exactly why political violence is becoming an issue. When politicians are doing harmful things, but people applaud them for it and continue to vote for them because they're the right team, while refusing to have their minds changed by facts, well-reasoned arguments, or any other form of non-violent advocacy, what other options exist to prevent that harm except violence? Is it surprising that increasingly desperate people are resorting to the only remaining option to make changes that they feel are necessary? --- This is my signature.
