Politicians need to win elections, period. It's understandable that saying something you don't agree with, like supporting Israel, angers you. They are literally trying to get the other side to believe they believe what they say. But you still need to recognize that electing Biden or Harris who say they support Israel is better for Palestinians than Trump, for example. That electing Obama, who says he doesn't support gay marriage, is better for gay people.

that really depends on the exact phrasing of the question. At least it's not something he should get hate for.

Someone could say "so dems only care about getting one of theirs elected after all" if he said yes.
