So Im not here to state it is actually a gag series. But operating on the basis that it is a gag series, it actually is an excuse. You are literally not to take continuity too seriously. The storyline isnt meant to be consistent, power scaling isnt meant to make sense, canon isnt meant to be solid. Rules are literally bent for the sole purpose of driving the gag of the series.
