Nobody wants to hear that respiratory infections and high blood pressure have significantly higher impact on potential development than the medication used to treat them. Nobody wants to hear about the age and general health of the parents or that we've gotten way better at keeping newborns alive who would otherwise have perished. Nobody wants to think of it as a spectrum that is gradually being more understood and recognized. Nobody wants to think about micro plastics and diet. We want everything black and white, a singular enemy to point to, a single thing to change that will take us back to the old days when we were ignorant to the complexities of reality.
