This one just plays like a beatemup. You can absolutely finish the game naked , and since it is a beatemup, the roguelite actually works. Just like regular beatemups, you find boons that act as powerups. and just like a traditional beatemups, you start over when you game over. The only thing you are really collecting are new attacks that you can equip before runs, characters who offer quests or shop services, and collectible optional items.

It feels more like a dungeon crawler than a roguelike. I usually dislike the genre, but Hades and this game feel way better.

yeah, for this type of game I was going to say I would think that would play like an old school one, but with more options
