Apparently this is a hot take...but no the game doesn't get any better. There are two characters that stand out, but the game is so generic can vanilla that I lost interest 5 hours into it. But I trudged on for another 15 hours before I just dropped the game all together. It's a pretty game with a lot of charm, but the music, battle system, the story, and characters just didn't grab me once. I got it as a gift so I didn't waste any money, just my time.
