where did this "it's f***ing Reddit" sentiment come from
it seems to be absent pretty much everywhere else on the internet. and no one here said anything about it until sess made a few posts.
I don't even know much about Reddit but I could certainly see someone on there fabricating something like this as a "point" against Bronies. In short, it's a forum, not a news source.

this seems entirely believable and truthful. so i'm got this car you see, it's really less of a "car" and more of "two wheels with a metal rod between them," that can put on some serious speeds when it's got a motor attached. i removed it to be environmentally friendly.
any takers.

As for mental maturity...what makes 16 or 18 a good age?
This assumes every age-of-consent law is 16 or 18 set-in-stone, which is completely untrue.
For instance, here in Utah, it goes:
14 or under: No consent 15: Can have sex with anyone up to 18 16: Can have sex with anyone up to 21 17: Can have sex with anyone up to 27 18: Can have sex with anyone (Until 19 when they can't have sex with a 15 year old, etc.)

For instance, take Tom Bombadil above. He watches ponies. Does this make him some sorta bad person? Are you gonna say one of the nicest users on the board is scum of the earth just because he watches a specific cartoon?
Well not to take Rammtay's side, but to be fair Tom isn't a brony to my knowledge.
Just watching the show is a necessary but not sufficient condition to be one.
At least that was what I always assumed. Seems like you need to be more into it than "casually watching the show and enjoying it" to be one. Maybe I'm just basing the definition off of the more ridiculous bronies out there, though.
-- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
Whether or not I actually call myself a brony depends on my mood and how ashamed of the fanbase I feel that particular day >_> I am not a super duper hardcore hang out on ED all day kinda guy but I do quite enjoy the show <_<
Just seems kinda weird to be part of a named crazed fanbase without showing that extra something. Like I'd think it weird for someone to call me a Super Mario Bros fanboy when I just enjoy some of the games.
But I guess being a grown man and liking the show means you have something extra by default? *shrug

This is one of the best brony videos ever. It's funny when bronies get mad at this video. The quality of brony fan stuff like this has really gone downhill lately...

There's also the parent liability issue. Since you're legally responsible for your kids until they're 18.
If your 14 year old daughter goes out and gets an STD, you're legally required to have it treated, and should you leave it untreated and something happens to her you're in deep s***.
Granted, this is true for 16 year olds as well. Maybe it should be raised to 18 or allow kids to be legal adults at 16. And you can't have someone under 18 sign a legal document exonerating you from any responsibility if your kid does something stupid and gets pregnant/an STD.
It's not an easy question to answer. I agree that there's people out there mature enough to handle sex at 13-14 years old. Then again, my dad was driving my grandpa home from Detroit when he was 10 years old, and did a damn good job, too. But he still had to wait until he was 16 to get an actual license. I guess if you're going to have sex at 13-14, don't get caught.
I don't think there's a simple blanket answer, but then again I don't think you just throw up your hands and say they can have sex/drive cars/smoke cigarettes/drink alcohol when they're mature enough to handle it.

I know realo listens to this show just from what he said:
lol I love this. I listened to this entire episode recently. I talked to the "ban all bronies" guy on Ghost's Paltalk. He's a cool guy. eh doesn't hate bronies but trolls them and doesn't afraid of anything.

Plus they have that pathetic athiest board that sess loves to show us. /sp/ is the best though, except on yuro time. Nothing but anti american and divegrass threads
