Rules: - Rate from 0.1 to 10 (one decimal places is fine, more than that and I'll round for you). I'd prefer if 5 were an average rather than 7. - Unless a specific version is stated, rate the best version that you have played on games released on multiple platforms - You may vote for any games you want that have been rated before at any time. You may also change your vote at any time. - No alts, no joke voting, no purposeful downvoting - you all know this. - Please only vote if you've played enough of the game to be able to rate it. - You may nominate as many games as you want on any given day. Multiple noms of the same game aren't necessary. Spreadsheet with prior games/ratings: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0Ap-Cxjhwem1PdFR5Wk1NUkhDX3NmM3NIU1hVaFFZY2c&hl=en_US#gid=0
I really liked it a long, long time ago when I rented it, but I only made to some weird racing part, couldn't beat it, and sent it back. It's one of the games from my relatively younger years I most want to try again some day.

It's a good game, and the graphics are amazing (just look at this video of it in 720p: but you can tell that Rare was rushing to release it so they could jump ship to Microsoft.
edit: turn off the video sound, it keeps skipping.
and Nominate: Majora's Mask

The Hunger Games>Mockingjay>Catching Fire Majora's Mask won GotD. Deal with it.
Too much Tricky (mushroom mechanic was lame), re-used dungeons, a bit uneven and the final boss came out of nowhere. Aside from that, though, it was pretty alright.

Gorgeous game that truly is a lot better than people give it credit for. I feel that people just weren't able to look past how different this was from the previous games in the series. I did think that the test of strength or whatever involving that village strongman was absolute BS, other than that, I can't think of anything that stands out as being poor.
