Easy to navigate. I don't know about the 'Destination Addroid is where we write about games we see advertised in other games'. To me that just sounds like you are reviewing mobile games? I guess what I'm saying, is that I'd like to see "if you like this game, you'd possibly also like this game". So if I play/enjoy Bit Wars and they advertise FFXV's mobile game heavily on it, is it a good fit for me? I play paywall games until I hit the paywall and move on. Sometimes I wish there were reviews that could guide me.

Addroid is, as it says, reviewing games that are commonly advertised in other games. And yes, typically shorter.

I feel like this is not a super useful distinction from a reader's perspective. like, when I read reviews, it doesn't really matter to me whether you first heard about the game from an advertisement or some other source. I just want to know whether the game is good.

I'm sure things will change in terms of what we call things and how we categorize things as the website moves along, but the entirety of the content being produced on DA talks about more than just whether the game is good or not. The point is to provoke discussion about these kinds of games and what makes them good or not.

it's not a review, it's just a quick "so what is this anyway?" kind of thing for games that are heavily advertised in other mobile games. so much of the mobile games economy is built on selling ads, and there are tons of games that put gameplay or bonuses behind watching ads. and you'll notice if you mobile game a lot that these games come in waves. it's not a frequent post by any means.

edit: i will, though, look into cleaning up the explanation of those posts in the future.

i play a lot of idle games and clickers, and some gacha games, and those often have mechanics that operate on watching 30-second video ads

i'll definitely clean up the language on those posts to make that clearer though, this feedback helps

It does seem like a good idea. I see so many ads for mobile games that I can't possibly check them all out (nor do I want to). I could see someone who plays a lot of mobile games and sees the game advertised a million times would inevitably be curious about it

for some back-end talk, the site has now been verified by google, my xml sitemap has been submitted and we are indexed. google is currently crawling the site, and then i will submit an application for google news

i also did a couple ad buys on facebook to see the results
