I would be surprised if there wasn't another civil war in the near future.

I'm not even trying to be edgy, I am legitimately scared for the first time in my life. Things keep getting worse and people refuse to listen to each other.

Lol yup. I hate the fakers. My great grandfather got it after WWI (it wasn't a diagnosis because it wasn't an acknowledged condition yet, but he had the symptoms). He was also mustard gassed. It led to his alcoholism later in life, apparently. I know a guy who was a soldier sent over to Kosovo during the Yugoslav wars, and now he has a work dog and medical marijuana because of all the fucked up stuff he saw. I lose my shit at posers.

I feel like folks in our age group somewhat romanticize, or downplay, the ramifications of wartime for some reason. Maybe it's because we haven't really experienced something of that magnitude of displacement within our borders and instead shipped people off to fight abroad.

I'm suspicious we're ever going to have an actual war again, let alone a civil war. Let's be honest, for as many problems as we have in this country - we have it really fucking easy. Even the homeless have cell phones and laptops.

We're a generation of pampered assholes. If I have the option to go out and fight my neighbor because he's moderately annoying or just sit at home and continue playing video games, I'm probably gonna stick with the video games. You couldn't convince enough people to give up their lives to go fight a stupid war because they don't like Trump/Hillary/whoever.

Yeah as much emotional termoil is going on, there absolutely will not be a civil war in any way shape or form from the fact that there is no physical location.

A civil war requires some stuff:
1. An opposite government
2. A physical location where said government is
3. A leader

Neither side has any of these things, there are prolific people, but nothing that's actually required.

Now that being said, someone could show up and a location could be staked out, but the current trajectory doesn't have that. We could devolve into anarchy, but not a civil war.

How SJWs will win

First, they'll make everyone who disagrees with them lose their jobs. It starts off as something big and convincing to centrists. Then trickles to everything else they disagree with. Kinda like how they diminish real problems (mental disorders, calling everything racist) so that everything is a problem.

Then, when nobody has jobs, they push for everyone to have welfare. SJWs will say "Ha! we made you lose your job, now you need to rely on us!"

A requirement for welfare is starting a Tumblr account, and you are only allowed to post "safe" pictures. Eventually everyone gets Stockholm Syndrome and becomes and SJW.

Then, people who held onto their guns are willingly giving them up, because they would much rather see Doodlebops and Kitty Cat memes cover their Tumblr profile.

Eventually Tumblr becomes the biggest company in the world, they buy out Microsoft, Google, Apple, Sony, and all the others. They release a new game system called the "Tumblr Tilt n' Tumbl" the only game is moving racists into a hole, and building a safe space over the hole after covering it with like cement or something.

UC Berkeley proved definitively that the far-left is no better than the alt-right. Both of them are militant and unconstitutional in their beliefs. I don't wear a Captain America t-shirt regularly because I'm American (I'm not) or like the government, I do so because I believe the US constitution and what it stands for is awesome.

A whole lot of people definitely do confuse "I'm uncomfortable discussing this subject" or "I find this offensive" with actually being traumatized by whatever it is, and most "trigger warnings" amount more to "somebody might find this upsetting," but you shouldn't downplay perfectly legitimate PTSD cases just because you don't think the root of the case is traumatic enough.
