Yeah, that's very similar. Not like the Souls series has a monopoly on that sort of combat but some of those animations seem ripped straight out of the games.

Not gonna lie I'm here for it though, I'm still plodding my way through the series after being a huge fan at the start and Origins looks kinda cool

If it's overall the same as the rest of the series I'll skip this one. Every AC looks kinda cool in marketing, but the execution is always the same. To me it's one of the most consistently average experiences in gaming.

That's an improvement then, Dark Souls fighting is fun. I've never cared for the combat in AC.

This is the only way Assassin's Creed could remotely hold my interest at this point. The series is beyond stale by now and the developers shamelessly reuse the same gameplay mechanics since II.
