Ordering a pizza and telling them "no anchovies".

I literally have never seen a pizza place offer a pizza with anchovies on it.

Was this really ever a thing or were they just fucking with us because as a kid I always took it seriously

Yeah, I'm not sure why you haven't seen anchovies offered but most places seem to offer them (and I've ordered them by mistake by doing that "no anchovies" gag). Major chains might be an exception, though.

Password guessing

A big and recent offender occurs in Ozark, where Laura Linney needs to get into Jason Bateman's computer but doesn't know the password, so she picks up a magazine or some shit and reads the bar code or ISBN number and it works. Biggest joke I've ever seen, especially considering there was no precursor to her being able to guess that. Like even if Bateman said to Linney at some point "oh I like using ISBN numbers as passwords" or some shit like that, then I'd get it. But there was no pretext whatsoever.

That said, aside from that and a few other things that bugged me, it really is a good show.

I've actually found out the password to my friends computer like that back in the day. His parents locked it out when they weren't there and I was guessing password from stuff around the desk. Turned out it was a phrase on a cd. Hacker/detective skills+1000 when it worked hahaha!

In high school situations, people having like 5-10 minutes to talk in-between classes. When I was in school you got about 5 minutes between class, which was just enough to go to your locker, get books for the next class, and get to class. If you carried all your books with you you would maybe get 1 or 2 minutes to talk if that. You never got to have long conversations, that only happened during lunch and maybe study hall if you had a teacher that let you talk.

I don't see how it would even be possible unless the other kid was a willing participant. Even if it's a big kid picking on a shrimpier one, they'd have to lift a kid up who's reasonably close to them in size/weight, open the locker door, get the kid inside, corral their arms and legs and stuff those in too, close the door, and lock the locker, and those last two steps can be thwarted by any kid who has the presence of mind to tuck their knees in towards their chest and brace their feet on the door.

Define "willing." Assuming that they're not forcibly shoved in there -- and no, they aren't guaranteed to be roughly the same size and weight because they could be several years older plus the larger guys tend to pick on the small ones -- they can still be coerced through violence or, in other cases, beaten first then pushed in there.

And I seem to recall at least one Boy Meets World ep where a bully coerced Corey into a locker (albeit to comedic effect)

This article says that anchovies were one of the first pizza toppings and therefore have been grandfathered into today's menus:

Of course, as somebody else said, I can't imagine pizza in America having anchovies on it by default.

When I was in high school we had "Freshman Kill Day", every year on the Friday before homecoming. Things liked this happened and administrators looked the other way. There were several unwritten rules on this day (not tattling/no serious harm) getting stuffed in the locker was one of the least humiliating things.

5500?? Jesus tap dancing Christ I thought my school was stuffed with 1500 students. Granted it was overcrowded because the building was built to house 1000 but still.

Even then everyone had a locker, in fact if you were a senior you got a locker in a special hall (although by the time I was a senior I only used it for my coat. Everything else I carried in my back pack. )

Ha, my graduating class had over a thousand.

There were only like 100 lockers in any case. Every classroom had the books for the class taught there and kids were issued all their books for home at the beginning of the year so there really was no need to have a locker - you could rent a book you needed from the library if you wanted to study at school. I remember most kids not even having backpacks.

Every classroom had the books for the class taught there and kids were issued all their books for home at the beginning of the year so there really was no need to have a locker - you could rent a book you needed from the library if you wanted to study at school. I remember most kids not even having backpacks.

Damn. My backpack weighted 65 lbs. Could have saved my back to implement a take-home plan.

Who says I'm upset? I'm giddy. Him ignoring me means I won.

Fact is, I am still doing what I'm doing, which is posting on GameFAQs to kill time at work. Nothing about that has changed.

Fact is, I had him by the balls so hard that he alt + F4'd his way outta there.

and you're constantly trying to get his attention

he is doing nothing, and you are trying your damnedest to get him to notice you

face it fam, you're upset af. you're obsessed with the guy, to a very unhealthy degree.
