Damn, just had my first crash. Nothing major lost, just a bunch of small things I went around doing. Collecting ingredients for cooking and weaving being the most annoying loss, but also all the talking and exploring and refining aux cores and cutscenes in Indol so far. =/

I may have been overleveled but it seemed to go by pretty quick, felt like they made the enemies weaker to compensate to me. Even level 1 specials from Mithra were taking huge chunks of every enemy's life bar.

I finished chapter 4 last night. Maybe because I had heard bad things so I was expecting the worst, but I really enjoyed it. I also had no problem using 2 party members; may have been over leveled.

Fighting single enemies wasn't an issue, but the two points where you have to tackle three in order to get keycards was pretty miserable. Rex got torn up real fast. I eventually just made him a full tank and brute forced my way through it, but it wasn't fun at all. Mercifully that section is pretty short and I found the boss to be pretty easy.

although he's being comedic, i agree with basically everything he says. the drawbacks this game has are pretty evident. i wish pyra had smaller boobs too, but then i'm not the demographic they want to cater to i guess?

still a really fun game though. if i play the game for over half an hour i end up playing it for like 3 hours straight.

Finally I got a rare knuckle Blade on Nia. It wasn't Adenine or Ursula like I'd prefer (it was Nim), but still, she finally has all three healing weapon types!

Commons are one thing but I never open rares without stacking five boosters on them. My success rate doing that still isn't great considering the cores are actually kind of rare but it's probably like 1 in 5ish? (Understanding I'm in Chapter 5 so my idea levels are at least a little leveled up)

3 rare healer blades on Rex in a row, finally broke the streak with Perun. Think it's the literally the first ATK rare blade I've gotten for him and he has like 13 now.

Finally finished Chapter 4 for real this morning. Need to get some blades for the 4th party member now and throw Tora in the garbage.

If you put the Switch in sleep mode directly from the game (as opposed to the home screen), the timer sometimes (always?) keeps going.

Movement canceling actually makes a pretty big difference on the slower weapons, so that might help. Also getting the affinity skill that lets you cancel driver arts into other driver arts is nearly a must for them. >_>

It's worth it, especially on Rex since he can launch with axes.

I do, and it doesn't really help and is annoying.

But I still do it, because.

Yeah I almost feel like it's more of a hassle to trudge through the menu to equip all that stuff than to just suck it up and enjoy all those wonderful common blades you're going to get anyway.

I honestly think it's high Idea levels that have a bigger impact on rares.

I feel like grinding for cores isn't helpful unless you're building your Ideas too.

Yeah, where's that core chip because I fucking need it.

well it depends on the weapon type and the chip.

I know one chip (amethyst chip) made twin scythes give +50 luck, whereas a different rare chip gave Bitballs +50 luck
