I have no idea why. Just saying, the Coors I had when I was in Colorado tasted absolutely nothing like the Coors I've had back on the east coast. I suspect it has to do with different water from a different plant east of the Mississippi.

Did you possibly have Coors Banquet instead of Coors Light? When you say "Coors" I don't know what you're talking about since there are two types. I can imagine if you just told a bartender you wanted "a Coors" you might get entirely different beers in each region.

Randi, I know this isn't exactly what you want to hear right now, but if he's not able or willing to get over himself, his issues, and his baggage to be with you you're better off with him having been straightforward about it early on rather than stringing you along for days weeks and months. It would only have gotten worse for the both of you as he buckled under his own issues down the line. I've been on both sides of this sort of thing and it only gets worse with the sheer force of momentum.

When I was in his position, I'd strung a girl on for 4 years on and off and it was totally unfair to her. When I was on your end, the girl would take off to Florida without so much as an explanation or goodbye everytime things got too real for her and then she'd pop pack up like nothing ever happened and expect me to drop everything and I did for the first two years of that dance.

Neither situation had a happy resolution for anyone involved. I know it doesn't seem like it now, but the takeaway here is that it's for the better that he was straight up about where he's at before things got too deep for him to handle.

Was only a month though right? That's not that bad. It's hard to really get attached to someone in that short period of time. It's like when a character you like dies in the first season of show. It sucks, but the show goes on.

I know. I know we only dated for a short while, but I trust him when he said he thought about it and came to a similar conclusion, and didn't want to hurt me. He didn't want to burden me down the line, and in response I told him I didn't want to burden him with my resulting self-esteem issues taking a blow in front of him. It's nobody's fault, and we both felt a connection--probably because we openly communicated from the start.

I just feel so tired in general.
