I knocked France down to about 1/4 of their former glory, they stagnated for a while, then their remaining four cities all rebelled one after another (the new loyalty system is great - first they rise up and become a free city, and will either stay independent or revolt again to join another nation) until their civilization ceased to exist on its own. It was pretty funny. It flows much better in general now that it did without Rise & Fall. This is also the first game in the series where the late game didn't bore me at all. lol I nuked somebody and an emergency was declared against me. The attackers usually have a goal like "take the enemy capital within 30 turns" and the target just needs to hang onto it.
