Brock Lesnar vs Braun Strowman for the championship at the Royal Rumble.

Hasn't that happened like 10 times already? And doesn't Brock always beat him?

When the legends retired, these new people just cannot compare. Its either overacting and cringeworthy or its people with absolutely zero personality.

Ive seen it a couple of times over the past few years and I just cant get into it. They are admitting that the only way to get decent ratings is to pay the retired legends to come back for one-off matches or put them in some general manager position where they get face time and no action.

They oversell the gimmicks and its almost embarrassing to watch now.

It's too polished as well. Everything feels overly scripted and formulaic. It used to have a bit more roughness to it in terms of overall presentation.

They have the talent, but the writing is mediocre, and Vince has lost his touch as the years go on. Braun Strowman is pretty much the top guy in the company right now, but Vince insists they go a different route.

The rumored plan is for Brock to defend against Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania. If this is true then Braun will lose at the Rumble. The fans wanted Braun in the main event at WM last year, but they gave it to Roman again while Braun won the tag titles with a referee's 10-year-old son.

Anyway I could rant on for hours about this stuff. The point is RAW is poor, Smackdown is pretty decent right now, and NXT is great. Their current roster can do amazing things. We've seen it. However bad direction and writing continues to give us a dull product.

RAW has some big injury problems right now and their best performers are not allowed to have the Universal Title because BROCK LESNAR!

Brock doesn't even need the title to be a big deal. Just have him show up now and then and destroy people. That's what fans want to see from him anyway.

This sums it up, plus 205 Live is also pretty darn good. RAW is the only problem, but it's a very, very big problem. You can easily tell which show Vince really cares about running, because it's the one with the most awful ideas.

Titles almost never change hands anymore unless its at a PPV event. The semi retired stars, who the fans actually want to see, only compete at PPV.

Basically, the network shows are just drama, acting, and promotion for the paid event. There is never any effort in the matches and the people are just boring.

It pissed me off that they couldn't get something for Jeff to do last night. He's the only one of the original six TLC guys left still able to go and they can't find something for him to do? At a show named after a match he made famous. Come on WWE!
