Not yet. We've only been living here about a month though. There's still time.

There was. More like I was frightened of my nephew who was an addict and a dealer. He overdosed so that is over and done with.

Yes, everyone that smokes. I'm not bothered really by sounds, but it seems like everyone in this complex smokes

Not really. My one neighbor moved in some years ago after his mother passed. Him and his wife are cool. And they had a kid after moving here. And he's growing so fast. It's kind of cool to know I've been here so long, I'm basically seeing someone grow up. Haha.

My neighbor on the other side is super nice, as well. I met her at the plasma center. And I wave and say hello everytime I see her. Her kids are nice, too. They always say hi. And they even let me know when my dog(s) get(s) out...

I still wave and asy hi to the other neighbors. And have little chat with them sometimes.

Yes, a couple across the road. They moved in last year after the friendly family who had lived there moved to another state.

They throw parties every Friday and Saturday, blaring the awful bro-country. Not a single car who visits (including the guy who lives there) has an exhaust system on their vehicle. Everyone who visits has to be loud and obnoxious. Unwritten rule apparently! They often just throw their beer cans into the road, some into my yard. I just toss it back into theirs.

The father of the 4 kids is mean as hell to his kids. He stands there smoking and yelling at one while the kid mows the lawn. Any time one talks to him, I hear him say "what the fuck do you want?" He walks around with a "pugilist pose" and like he's a tough guy. His wife is obviously intimidated of him. Yes, he's been arrested for domestic violence more than once.

CPS makes regular visits, including one this past Friday where they were there for 4 hours. Their house smells like an ashtray because both parents are 3 pack a day smokers and they smoke inside. I know about the smell because our old mailman accidentally dropped off packages of theirs at our house a few times and I took it to them.

Just the family across the street where the dog sits at the open window and barks continuously all day long. And if anyone walks by, it starts a barking frenzy. It's one of those small yappy dogs which makes it even worse.

Yes, there's an Asian family that has 20 or so people living in one house and they have 8 cars they park all up and down the street. Rarely move them for street cleaning too so there's trash and gravel piled up by the curb on either side.

Very recently a Hispanic family moved in across the street and they have these huge parties every weekend and blast music all night. If it continues I'm gona have to call the popo. Got home early in the morning one day last week and they were all in their driveway drunkenly yelling at eachother and singing while hosing off gardening tools.

There's also a woman who lives 3 houses down who has this "lover" who parks his car in front of my house, then walks down to hers. Apparently he is cheating on his wife with my neighbor. I learned this when the wife angrily pounded on my door demanding to speak to her husband, and I had to direct her to the right house. Guess he was telling her he was spending nights at my house playing poker and drinking, and that's why he doesn't come home.

Ive got a downstairs neighbor who beats on my ceiling angrily the moment he hears the cats run across the floor. I'm sure its audible but what a fucking baby. If you're that completely intolerant of noise, then dont move into a fucking apartment or at the very least make sure your dumb ass gets one on the top floor like I did. Some people are too lazy to walk up stairs i guess

I have lived in a downstairs apartment twice, with only the 2nd time having the opportunity to move to an upstairs apartment. 1st place was in a basement apartment and it was great for keeping cool in the summer. But I had morons who lived above me. I worked nights, and for fun, they would put a radio outside my window and jack up the volume at 8 am, then leave to go somewhere. The worst day was what sounded like a game of rolling a bowling ball back and forth over my bedroom for hours and pound a broomstick on the floor when that got boring.

No, talking to them or the landlord didn't work. They refused to answer the door, I left notes (they just crumpled them up and tossed them in front of my door) and the landlord was an absolute asshole

2nd place, I had a guy who weighed 350 and couldn't walk anywhere without stomping. He also had to be the clumsiest person in the world as he couldn't go an hour without dropping something on the floor. He slept at random times as he was unemployed, so it wouldn't be uncommon for me to be jolted awake at different hours of the morning.

Not anymore since the prostitute was moved out after she set fire to her house. Sure my current neighbours have/do annoying things at times but not enough for me to hate them. I feel nothing towards them really.

Yeah the lady next door is crazy. She constantly calls code enforcement on us because she thinks the lawn is too high, it never is. And I haven't been able to prove it but I think her kid throws stuff at my dogs. One of those that is always snooping on other people. It got a bit better since my sister stayed with me and parked her crime scene van out front.

And of course those are reasonable complaints. That's why I'm pissed. I'm like, "dude you're lucky me and my gf both work all the time and never party." He should be grateful tbh

What made things worse on the first place was I had step kids at the time. It wasn't fair to them to be woken up by the loud music or be kept awake from their behavior. I got some semblance of revenge in the end, which I desperately wanted after they called the cops on me, claiming I had a dangerous animal in my house. A coworker had brought over her boxer and wanted to know if we wanted puppies. No pets were allowed however, which is important to note. I brought this up to the landlord regarding the dog and he told me to mind my own god damned business and he will run things his way. My 1 year lease was thankfully completed at this point.

Pain in the ass above me had a dog. Medium sized dog, mutt. Their dog got into a fight with a neighbor's dog. They subpoenaed me to be a witness for them! The case was in June, but I was to ship out for the Army in April. I knew the judge (he was the one who presided over my wedding after all) so I was able to give him a sworn statement, including the "no pets rule" in the statement

I found out she somehow lost her case. It was as if you break the rules, you are out of luck
