Steam was being a bit buggy when I accepted my gifts, so I was laser focused on that and not the name, and naturally I can't double check. But as best as my goldfish memory can tell, my secret santa was CPU and they went above and beyond and gifted me not just Hades, but Endless Space 2!

I imagine there's gonna be a lot of Hades love going around this year, since it is goty material from everything I've been hearing.

Glad I got it right. I honestly wasn't sure when you commented before my write-up that you were eager to hear about it, but said nothing afterward. It was sitting at the top of your wishlist, though, and I knew basically nothing about the 80 other games, so between that and the 100+ hours you had on Slay the Spire, it seemed like a slam dunk. Let me know how it goes for you. You'll probably top my playtime in a couple days.

Wait, my recipient had my giver? Funky. I guess that's bound to happen mathematically to someone. I dunno what the odds are that we get a triad, specifically, but certainly more likely there's two loops than one big one if chosen randomly.

Then next year we'd all just give each other Final Fantasy VIII.
