tbh, the stuff I care about isn't updating atm (except Hero? but those chapters are fucking short), and I haven't been super-hooked by any of the new series I started. A few things I got a good way into before getting distracted or losing interest.

According to this, it looks like the game would be comparable to RF4 in terms of story content and volume.

Which is sorta impressive since I expected the extra work in making the game in 3d would draw resources away from the development of other areas, given the size of the dev studio. So happy to hear that it'll be just as big as 4.

Curious to see how they improve the farming from 4 though. The farming in that game was pretty in-depth considering the different soil stats you have to manage.

All in all, hype levels are still through the roof!

I'm strictly in the "wait until the game is on sale or has an all DLC included version" camp, but this will be a day one buy for sure!

The only Rune Factory game I played was the PS3 one... Tides of Destiny? I don't play a ton of chill games, but it was decent. Atelier Ryza is the best one of those sorta things I have played in forever. I picked up the second one but haven't tried it yet.

Next season we get the anime for To Your Eternity. Look forward to it :)

rune factory 4 is absolutely fuckin amazing and you should give it a whirl sometime, it's on both 3ds and switch now

tides of destiny was.... alright, but it wasn't a mainline one and it felt much lower quality

rf4 felt almost infinitely replayable with its many interconnected progression systems and you could do REALLY silly stuff like applying so many status effects you feel physical slowdown every time you swung your weapon, which you also enchanted to be 10x its length

Watched this weeks horimiya and then jobless reincarnation. Both were good. Now more clear than ever that jobless reincarnation will need to have more seasons to wrap anything up. It's clearly just getting started. I hope it's doing well in sales since it seems to be doing well in ratings and popularity online. Also impressed how eris becomes more likeable every episode. I feel whats currently going on should be really good for character development.

Very good episode of Mushoku Tensei! I loved how they handled the beginning. I did not expect that VA for the human-god character

Good to hear that Part-Timer is on its way back, but, after the last DXD and how the change in art style divided fans, I am hoping that it gets the same studio that it had ... eight years ago.

It's called Ijirare Fuskushuu Saimin and I wanted to talk about the implications and nuances of the plot of an h-anime of all things.

So the premise is, if you haven't seen it. is that a guy is being bullied by three girls, and he gets a chance to hypnotize them as a form of revenge. Now normally, in these sort of stories, you'd expect him to just turn the girls in mindless sex dolls, but the unique thing about this is he instead implants the idea that "boys don't like it when they're targeted by sexual acts by girls they don't love" and that doing sexual acts to him would be considered humiliating and torturing him.

I've seen some discussions on whether this should be categorised as rape or not, and I wanted to hear your guys thoughts on this.

I'm not sure I've read a h-manga since DP or whatever that one site somebody plugged when they were account-suiciding got shut down. And I realize I haven't really missed any of it. As for just hentai, I'm not sure when the last time I watched any was. Probably not in 15 or 20 years.

I don't buy any of that as an excuse. He's used a magical coercion that seems even more invasive than brainwashing. From the way you described the scenario, it sounds like pretty straightforward rape.

As for that story, it's obviously rape from their perspective, but just going by your description, all the MC did was implant a false idea of what someone wouldn't enjoy. It was still entirely their decision to actually do it. Nobody actually forced the girls to do anything to him; it was actually the other way around.

If anything I see it as similar to entrapment, where you take advantage of someone's bad nature to set them up.
