the advantage of streaming over bundles like cable is that i can pay for one service, watch what i want, then cancel it and move onto the next one. rinse, repeat.

No one pays for all of them. Like who tf has Apple TV through a monthly sub and not from buying one of their phones? Plus you can share with your friends/family. I spend probably $30~ a month on streaming and I have access to every worthwhile service.

You'd be surprised. I remember when Ted Lasso came out people who had apple+ for free were finally using it but then it required them to pay for it

Its the biggest scam. Everything becomes an hbo Max exclusive or a discovery plus exclusive.

Durr its only fifteen dollars per month!

Yeah, for each service. You end up spending less paying for cable, but every program gets locked behind a streaming paywall.

I pay for Netflix, Funimation, and discovery plus for now. Thats like 30 a month probably if that. I also pay for Hulu/Spotify for 10 bucks a month.

Why in the hell would you have them all at once? Are you really watching that much TV everyday? Even with them all together, that's still cheaper than cable or satellite and you have the luxury of watching what you want, when you want at any time instead of being at the mercy of TV schedules and whatever episodes/movies they decide to play.

in my job the tech budget pays for it and I just the account

sports alone can run you 100+ if you're into a lot of stuff. Especially the MotoGP, Indycar, UFC, etc. Let alone big networks and/or big-4 leagues + DAZN for soccer.

• Don't subscribe to all at once. Subscribe when you're actively watching a show on it. How much TV can you possibly be watching at once?

One time I subbed to Hulu for a free month and watched all 6 seasons of Justified. I often go a year in between free trials of Netflix too.

I pay for Netflix and Hulu.

Get HBO for free by having ATT internet, and would pay for Amazon Prime even they didnt have streaming. So thats not much per month at all.

I keep netflix around because it's more convenient to just watch shows and movies on my phone anywhere rather than go to my pc to watch something. But its library is so sparse now
