Actually I can definitely put together a wind phys team now (and probably could have for a while, though I'm running low on some motes/crystals).

Apparently Reks has 2 AASBS and this was his AASB1, the one that isn't a Fullbreak counter. Why does a character like Reks, with his 5 minute screen time, get 2 AASBs and a Sync?

To be fair hes a better character than Vaan despite (or perhaps because of) that disparity...!

I have a headcanon that some of these characters are alternative timeline versions that became greater than they did in the actual game. Like Josef has a soul break animation where he overcomes the boulder that killed him and this Josef became much stronger than the one who was in your party for 15 minutes in the actual FF2 game.

So like if Reks didn't actually get killed by Vayne and Gabranth at the start of the game he would have become a powerful soldier as shown in FFRK.

That said we still should have gotten Reddas instead of Reks.

Yeah, Deathgaze barely does any damage. He used to be super-bulky with his constant savage modes and the Doom becomes a real problem if you aren't going fast enough.

Good luck on the tickets today. First ticket was a miss (Strago OSB dupe, eh it's Water+ armor), but second ticket was much better:
3 discos and a mogball; 2 dupe chains, but also Paine's AASB, which is a nice boost to my FFX and Water teams.
The mogball was dupe Bestrix Sync, which isn't super useful, but since I love Beatrix and she's a mainstay in my FFIX and Holy teams, the improved damage and cast time are a nice, if fairly insignificant, bonus. (I noticed the typo, but she deserves it)

Yeah I actually died to doom at like 7% the first time because he had like 6 +holy defense stacks, after which I decided I needed to make De'Diaja now rather than wait until I made a holy magic team

Another one down. Absolutely not a perfect run, though:
I couldn't avoid the Soul Break debuff on Mog, which meant I didn't have the gauge to counter Full Break right away at the start of phase 3. Might have been a sub-30 if I wasn't stalled so much in early phase 3. Luckily Beatrix could still easily destroy King's rage, even after the Full Break.

I got FF15 Bahamut under 18% but that was with good luck, this Bahamut hits way harder than other Bahamuts I've faced so he's pretty rough.

I wish I had Iris USB2 so bad though... *sigh* I had to get her HA to keep up with the damage.

Phew that was way harder than I thought it was gonna be! I can't believe people are calling this one easy! I though I was pretty stacked in this realm, do Iris USB2/Sync or Ingus awakenings/sync really make him that much easier?

Yeah the first phase sucks, not only is he stupid bulky he hits hard too! I need Iris to dualcast her HA or else Orran won't survive the claw swipes. I have to use Orran's BSB with his third instant cast and then Noctis's awakening since he gets 100% crit with it (which is also why surviving in phase 1 is so hard because I need to use the BSB over Orran's awakening) and then use Orran's glint plus so Noctis can start breaking cap. I also have to use Ardyn's awakening which helps a lot since it has a fire imperil chase so I can out DPS the sleep, still need some dualcast luck from Ardyn too.

Oh yeah, are there any USBs that particularly stand out for that select? Not sure what I'll pick there or for the glint/LM one. I'll probably go with Rem for the sync since I have her awakening.

Probably a realm healer USB for Cardia stuff is what most people pick with those selects. Or Kiros USB that's still good these days.

For the glint select try to get a glint+ that fill the soul break 2 bars if you have any characters that also have awakenings and/or chains.

I'd get the glint+ for Vincent. He's a good character in general with a 6 hit HA and you can lens his fire chain later.

Geez, the Spiraling Depths is ridiculous. I did 66-70 today, couldn't auto it. Not that hard to do manually, but he was ridiculously bulky and there's still six more tiers after this.

I have to do five more draws for the sync select; I was gonna pull 3-5 times on 5 and then double back to 4 if the pulls went well, though I guess doing one B3 pull now is also an option? I mostly wanted Serah and Vivi's stuff from B4, so the pool's shrunk a bit there.

I'm also thinking about doing a pull on b3 although I kinda think this banner is still better for me. The only major want for b3 is OK's sync, the other stuff is more nice to have. Whereas getting one of Relm's things here would be a good boost for my VI team and Serah sync / Y'shtola sync / awakening would be nice. Although I've heard Y'shtola isn't that good at dealing damage... I need the help for XIV. Anyway, probably going to wait until after I pull on b5.

BTW pretty happy about Vivi's sync, I love the little guy and he's now easily on my lightning team and probably ice too (especially if I get a chain for Serah or Rinoa instead of having to use Laguna)

Yeah OK sync is the main thing Id like from B3 as well. The main downside though compared to B4 is that Id have to make the decision to draw now, whereas having B4 as the plan still leaves open the possibility of doing all five pulls on B5 (from which almost everything seems useful for me besides a few Galuf dupes)

I feel like this one was overpowered if you paired it with Awakening 1 or something? I'm not actually seeing the combo here so maybe I'm just making this up. Or it's just good on its own or it's Sync 1 + Awakening 2 I dunno

I don't recall any discussion of a Vivi SB Power Combo, but it looks like the best two to run at once would be Sync 1 (Fire) and AASB2 (Ice/Lit). AASB2 provides Vivi Trance (doublecast Black Magic!) without needing to be damaged into it, and +10k damage cap without un-linking any Fire abilities.

Being able to combo AASB1+AASB2 to triplecast Ultima also deserves a mention. Shame the cowards wouldn't give Vivi a five-hit Fir/Ice/Lit hero ability.

Wow, I finally got 40 level 99 heroes to finish off Book of Trials XII, then did the only one I hadnt done on XIII (max empowered spheres for five heroes) and instantly completed XIV and XV

Guess the order on some of these is pretty screwed up...!

Used my three BoT tickets on realm pulls

Mostly junk from my two XV pulls (the game does not want me to get those rat tails!)
Got Snow's sync and a Fang AASB from XIII, though! Guess Snow wants back onto my Ice team...!

Ended up nabbing Vivi's ice/lightning AASB, as well as Agrias'. Also managed to get FuSoYa's and Barrett's realm chains.

Got Famfrit down, so that's at least one 5* of every element! That also let me finally upgrade from level 5 to 8 spell ward on my Phoenix.

On the other hand I seem to be unable to kill Syldra a third time to finish maxing out my magic Madeen...

Another one down. Hilda with only her lensable tech sucks as a healer. Luckily Mog could pick up some of the slack, and I used Minwu USB1 (had to lens it) in phase 2 for some much needed extra healing.

Phase 1 was pretty slow, as I only used Maria USB and Minwu USB2 here.

Dps in phases 2 and 3 was Maria (AASB), Emperor (AASB1+Sync, spamming Cmd 1) and Minwu (Sync). Ended phase 2 just before the Megaflare and phase 3 didn't last very long either.

Finally beat XV Bahamut! That one was tough, glad to take him out.

The ticket incentive got me to bring down an Argent Odin (Vulnerable to Earth Physical), which then aided me in bringing down Vulnerable to Water Physical and Vulnerable to Fire Magic. Tried a few of the others, but that's probably enough for now - I have physical and magical Odins at Lv99 with fire/ice/lightning buffs. Time to start trying for the Dragonking ticket, I suppose.

Well it's always stressful unless you're a whale or lucked into an OP sync/dyad.
