Sorry. I was only thinking on it from a very small chance vs. Kaguya to zero chance vs. MHA, that's all. Like am I overthinking things? I thought other LotGH savers might have seen that too, it's so obvious. I don't know what the record is for worst finals result but this could be a contender, MHA is massively popular. Surely you understand?

Kinda meh final. Kaguya/MHA would have been a dodgy one too mind, with both yet to hit their peaks in anime form. Kaguya had better win some day, cause it's a phenomenal series and would be the best winner of all imo

uggh, sorry guys i really messed up. I could have told socko to get Kaguya this round, but i thought LotGH needed the help more so i didn't say anything. wasn't paying enough attention to realize he was on team MHA and just wanted the easier finals opponent.

I never learned my lesson apparently, but I also assume I'm dealing with rational people who aren't going to do something irrational just to spite me? And in turn ruin any chance (however slim) they have for their supposed series to succeed?

I saw 3 MHA saves coming in easily especially since banshinryu hadn't shown up yet and VI was due for a save. The only possible Kaguya saver other than someone brand new was changmas, and he no-showed the past few rounds. There was nothing there for them. I was desperate and posted something that made sense to me and that I never thought in a million years would end up like that. Lesson learned and I won't forget it this time.

Captaincanadian was the only other MHA saver I remembered who hadn't saved yet and they can be kind of spotty with showing up to rounds, and I honestly didn't think it would have stalled to VI's save even if it was stalling still. I could be wrong on that part though

btw congrats Bane, I can't believe a show with only 2 traders made the finals... which is again a testament to its broad strength and support! And is still buried on my "to do" list from when it was 3rd place 3 years ago, hahaha...

I thought having to rely on mostly casual saves was gonna do MHA in once we hit the top 5/6, I'm surprised things lined up as well as they did for it even if it's a popular show normally

Congrats on getting LotGH to the final, I know the results are probably in favor of MHA but I'm not gonna take anything for granted

Nah, your antics are much more cheerful and you have a pleasant disposition. I'm always hyper competitive and get too stupid with these meaningless online contests, every time. I know I come across as abrasive and rub people the wrong way but I don't always see it until it's too late. Can't "read the room". I really am going to chill in the next SMFFFC and try to not care about the outcomes at all.... once we're out of boots.

Though I gotta say the "thank yous" were very annoying to me, lol.

Huh, I thought you knew LotGH would lose to either one and wanted Kaguya saves because you'd prefer losing to it in the final. I might have done things differently if I'd known what you were up to.

Definitely wouldn't have saved Kaguya, though. Just dislike it that much.

To be fair, a bunch of people threw it individual saves for ages which kept it alive. I don't see it winning and I'm not sure I'll main it next year. I mostly try to rep shows that are a bit underappreciated and which haven't done incredibly well before. And Hyouka any year in which Leon is around because I don't have to rely only on Voltch pity saving it if I miss an hour or so. I'll probably see if Lefty wants Tatami Galaxy in again or if I fancy going for a K-On/Hibike/Eva push

Cut off your nose to spite your face, fair enough. I haven't watched either series, I only wanted to be in the best position to win.

Here's my logic: MHA had 14 separate users saving or trading for it this round. We'll drop swirldude so it's just 13. Broad support, consistently got by with users who save it 1 time in a round but can easily do 12 in a 48 hour span of time. Kaguya had 9 people, LotGH had 6 and the rest being generous secondary saves, or unexpected saves.

So 13-9-6, just assume each of them shows up in the finals with a full slate of saves. We're at a numbers disadvantage either way but it's not so overwhelming vs. Kaguya. It depends how the MHA savers break, but maybe a lot of them don't show up in the finals? Are there more users out there like you that loathe Kaguya so would anti-vote it? And how many users who haven't participated at all are going to save MHA because it's in the topic title?

Kaguya/LotGH undoubtedly would've been more competitive and like I said, at least there was a small chance for us there, but we'll never know now and I'm really annoyed at myself and at you. But at least I feel better knowing you wouldn't have saved it, even if that was our best chance. Still going to feel salty about this for a bit!
