Kitt 08/05/21 12:02:23 PM #1:	I don't know shit about Dune -- never read the books or saw the David Lynch movie -- and I'm excited for this movie. I'll go see anything Denis Villeneuve directs. But man, it have a really strong possibility of being a huge bomb at the B.O. Also there are far more nerds out there now who actually know and love the concepts of Dune compared to any other time. It looks expensive though which could mean even a 150 million worldwide would be a disaster. Prestoff 08/05/21 4:42:16 PM #11:	It depends on word of mouth and if it gets good reviews, because while Dune is revolutionary for being the grandfather of Sci Fi stories... it's not a well known name most people will know about like Star Wars or Star Trek. I really enjoyed BR2049, but the fact that he was given another huge sci-fi blockbuster after that failed so hard at the box office is surprising.
