Youre gone either way but thats the end of the line as far as the physical universe is concerned when it comes to you. These resources, some of these more basic lifeforms that exist in my body, I want them to continue in some way even if its just for it all to be consumed and and broken down to build other kinds of life. Entropy might be the inevitable state of things, maybe not. But I dont see any good reason to rush the process. --- Enlighten yourself. I could see if that was preserving them until technology advanced in order to bring them back. It was about a 90 minute drive to get there, so I could only go a couple times a year when I lived in San Diego. Now I live halfway across the country and I can't go there anymore. When my husband passed away I chose to have him cremated. Now if I ever have to move I can take him with me. His urn sits on the table next to my bed, along with the urns containing one of my horses and my dog.
