I like highlighting pokemon that don't usually get a ton of attention, so today we're onto some grass two-stage lines! These are typically found reasonably early in their game but not at the very start (aside from Tangela who is very late, but it wasn't designed as a two-stage line originally), and today's group is monotype grass both before and after evolving. But who is your fav?

This is the first time I've seen Gossifleur and it's super cute, but I have to go with the adorable but pathetic Sunkern. Shame evolution ruins it.

I like Tangela's design but its so useless in gen I that I never made a connection with it.

The bottom group is pretty solid. Top group is awful though.

Gossifleur > Tangela > Fomantis > Skiddo > Cherubi > Sunkern > Petilil >>> Pansage

Skiddo is the only one that looks dependable (though definitely not the only one that looks cute), so it gets my vote.

Skiddo > Fomantis > Petilil > Pansage > Tangela > Sunkern > Cherubi > Gossifleur

This is not a very good group of Pokemon. I do like most of their evolutions, though!

I actually like Gossifleur an an unevolved Pokemon, but it completely loses its style when it evolves.

However Petilil is clearly a step ahead in the unevolved group.

I love the bag of peanuts, but I also have a soft spot for Cherubi (both Pokemon I've used).

These are mostly meh. Fomantis is absolutely adorable and probably my favourite gen 7 mon, Tangela is cute enough, all the rest are kinda bad. Gossifleur is one of the most forgettable Pokemon.

Edit: I have rethought. Sunkern is far more boring than Gossifleur and even if I forgot it existed it's kinda cute and less godawful.

Grass my second favorite type but I don't like most of these :(

Cherubi = Gossifleur > Skiddo (who I could've sworn was part normal type but I might be confusing it with Deerling) > Petilil > Fomantis > Sunkern > Tangela >>>>> Pansage

I am picking Skiddo, sadly over Sunkern today. I agree this isn't my favourite batch of pokemon, but I'm curious how tomorrow will go.

I think these are all cute except for Pansage, who is like awful.

I was astounded at how cute gossifleur was in my previous playthrough, I was afraid to let it evolve for a long time and when I finally did my fears were confirmed. Immediately went to the box.

Regardless gets my vote since it's still the cutest

Gossifleur -> Eldegoss is an interesting one. Like on the surface I appreciate that Eldegoss is more interestingly designed than just a normal flower but the jump between the two doesn't really work. Also Elde should be part psychic or something. But that's a discussion for later!
