Well, not like I have a long list of songs to get through yet so let's see where this goes. I prefer my vocals not to be screamed at me, first of all. I did like the opening though and the underlying instrumentals when the vocalist isn't saying anything. Oh shit, I stopped being screamed at around the 5 minute mark I am glad I stuck around at least to hear this very chill and pleasing part of the song. Oh yeah, this part slaps for sure. I would say if this was edited to not include any of the random screaming noises I would be more than fine listening to this as I liked what those parts were a good deal. Felt like I was going on a bit of a journey at times. Those parts would get a 6.8/10 from me, solidly above average. Nothing remarkable but something I could see myself listening to quite a few times without complaint. How many great Disney songs are there? A lot. Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride is joyous and I find myself dancing in my chair as I type this write up out. I have this on a few playlists already so I know I would listen to it quite a bit! Anyway Soken is a fucking genius. This isn't quite my favorite from 14 but it is very close. If I was to rate this song in the context please know it would get a 10/10. I won't say more, but it would get a 10.0/10 and there is no rounding up there. Perfection. On its own I still love it. From the beautiful opening to that guitar riff and just off to the fucking races this is a complete jam. This is one of my most listened to songs of the past two years and goes on any number of play lists. Beautiful, powerful, one of the best hype songs to get me out of a bad mood. I don't have a fantastic ear for music, but is that supposed to be a repeated piano chord of some kind? Kind of driving me nuts haha.
