I had forgotten essentially all of the storylines, but the moment I reached that episode and saw those two Digimon, I immediately remembered their fate and felt sad all over again. Actually, if I remember correctly, I think Myotismon said something along the lines of "it's back to the digital world for you two," or something like that.
