Was the tweet dumb? Sure.
Was it sexual in a way he definitely didn't intend? Yup.

But mostly it was just unnecessary. He's a Trump, so I would bet money he's a well-established shithead by the time he's 20. You could've just waited for the "breaking into the zoo while high on meth" story next year.

I think he means that Barron is now able to be tried as an adult, not juvenile now.

But without a follow-up, it's easily taken in wrong creepy way.

Yeah I think it's the whole "He's now a legal adult, so any let's not attack the president's poor underage children" angle, not "Alright everyone we can **** Barron now"

Logically this is about him being fair game as a political/news target, and though Kirk doesn't deserve the defense, I think that's how he took it too.

The tweet was poorly thought out and he could have prevented any controversy with literally just a few additional words.

Oh he did made a follow-up statement
