If you aren't absolutely blasting through every fight, you are probably nearer 8-10 hours from the end. Chapter 13 is long.

Chapter 13 was about 3:45 for me. I switched to Easy before I got there though, so that surely made it faster. And then the last chapter was under 2 hours

Yeah from the ponr, I think it took me 5-6 hours? The final battle and ending cutscenes is about an hour itself.

good to hear I have a lot left :D Just beat Gilgamesh and transmuted every item besides the gilgamesh armor. I think I'm ready to finish the plot. The only other thing I haven't done yet (I think) is beat that stupid minigame sidequest because it's bugged, so I guess that will have to wait.

Tomorrow I'll try to beat Chapter 13 :D Can't wait

oh I haven't done the brutal or legendary combat missions, because it suggests level 70 so I didn't even bother trying. I figure they have to be done after beating hard mode

I expect to finish story this weekend too. Can't play much if any today though.

I thought I could finish 13 yesterday but didn't. Seems cool so far though. Am I supposed to be on edge for Aerith's death yet? Because I am and it seems like they are teasing it. I also have no idea where it happens in the original since I've only seen it in the form of a 2-second gif from 2003

I cleared G-Bike just fine with no bug, but my girlfriend can't due to the bug.

Nah, cause we have the patch and I didn't get hit and she did. It's unclear what actually triggers it.

I thought it was beating the high scores in the G-bike minigame in Chapter 12 before the quest activates at the end of the chapter.

Alright, I beat Gilgamesh. That was easier than anticipated. Final stretch let's go.

It was always Gil, just labeled in menus as GP in translations until FF7 when there was an actual different GP.

I think he was using shorthand for Gilgamesh for whatever reason.

The only correct shorthand for Gilgamesh is 'Greg'.

Lmao I was just thinking how thankful I am that this game didn't have stupid pointless QTEs lol. I like being able to set my controller down and just enjoy the cutscenes.

QTEs are the best because failing them is always goofy af

Chapter 13 area is longer than I expected.
Bit of a departure from the original too in story beats.

loved that, and also an A+ cutscene prior to that fight starting:

QTEs rule. They were great in FF16.

I am very happy they are not they, to me it's low tier gameplay that just distracts cool scenes more than help them.

I'm glad Nomura decided to put the real Kingdom Hearts 3 at the end of this game.

Uh it happened again except at 0 pixels during a synergy special that literally hit him multiple times after 0 pixels. I still got interrupted and OHKOd from near full health. What a waste of time.

Oh wait I pressed the wrong restart button which is why I got sent back 30 mins. The first option is the right one.

Why the F did they put material auto collection in the post game only? That would've made the game feel so much better.

(final chapter length I guess I'll throw in a spoiler tag in case someone doesn't want to know, no other spoilers) Hour and a half? just checked a stream and sure enough they were almost 90 minutes on the dot until credits roll

Note that there aren't any scenes during the credits, so you don't have to pay attention/can skip.

I will pay until I finish now, game told me final stretch. After 109 hours and doing absolutely everything the game had to offer until this point, it is finally time to be free from spoiler fear.

Just finished the game as well, funny how many of us beat it at the same time when it's so late

it seems like cloud is in-between both realities and he can see omni-aerith and the rift in the sky because of that. No clue why they seemed to have the safer sephiroth fight this early though

I think I was mentally prepared for the KH bullshit this time so I actually didn't mind the ending nearly as much as I hated part 1s ending. I'm on board for Nomuras wild ride and can't wait to see where they go to finish it
