I had two former male high school teachers that slept with female students though. Gross.
In my HS we had a male teacher get into a relationship with a female student and when she tried to end it with him he strangled her, broke her neck, and tried burying her in a park. She survived and was found and he went to prison. It was crazy fucked.

This right here. Its always been happening frequently. It just gets dismissed as a serious issue by weird men in power who say things like Where were these teachers when I was in school? South Park parodied this years ago and it still didnt wake anyone up.

I assume this rate is higher because the willingness to charge female teachers has gone up, not the willingness of female teachers to rape their students, but what an awful thing to say in the article

Those ladies are dirty nasties. I can't believe some of them are married ,but yet they wanted to sex with teen boys or girls. If you remember most infamous teacher Mary Kay Letourneau, she #$%*ed 12 year old boy who fathered her 2 kids. Well, she's not only cougars who got married to kid because there are probably many teachers got married to their students too.
