I take back what I said. I am thoroughly satisfied with the hype leading up to this lol

Personally, I'd rather lynch Wallz. Corrik's an asshat who doubles down on things regardless of the consequences even as town.

Doesn't make sense for him to do this stunt as scum. If he's scummates with Wallz, that means he knew that the NK was stuffed by a roleblock. If he's trying to 1 for 1 the town roleblocker, then he'd surely know that the counterclaim would expose Wallz, turning it into a 2 for 1 which is just suicidal for scum.

I'm inclined to believe this is town Corrik being unreasonably stubborn. Doesn't help that I feel way better about Blade than I do about Wallz.

Of all the games where a late deadline would not matter for me.

more specific thoughts:

wallz - i am not afraid of wallz being able to backup his own roleblockerXrolescannerXseethefuture role, that doesn't seem like a possibility. I'm mildly afraid of him being some kind of role thief since that could naturally lend itself to a backup claim. but moreso i'm disappointed in him claiming "confirmable" as a backup since probably 80% of the time it's either not actually confirmable or would take so long to become confirmable it's effectively no longer confirmable. I think he ought to know better than that as town. And despite the 1 on 1 showdown between Blade and Corrik, they BOTH wanted to lynch wallz on day 1, which still means something to do.

MI - when I play these types of games where I get to be as carefree as I like in posting on day 1 without rhyme or reason I tend to play a little sloppy and without sufficient logical standing and while town can pick up on that and certainly do, it usually attacts a scum member to suspect me to as a 'reasonable' way to generate a scum read that isn't one of their teammates. if anyone fits that bill this game (well, besides knightz) it would be MI. It's maybe a little iffy given that knightz almost directly followed MI onto me originally, but hard to say what someone does in their first game. He might have fake claimed directly out of the signup topic after all.

Corrik - i mean, I simply don't think he's a roleblocker tbh. I doubt town has two roleblockers and while I'm not fully sold on kirby, I would've just expected Corrik to recant his claim immediately as a gambit on Blade. Is scum really in such dire straits Corrik would just flip the game on a 1 for 1 with Blade, when he could have just continued to push Wallz and no one would've blinked an eye and let him cya day 3'd into the middle of the game? Getting into WIFOM now but yeah i'm a bit confused, not totally sure I'd want to go in this direction. Need some convincing.

Blade - the equivalent of saying "fuck it we ball" and going big. Plus - he should be punished for saying my event was dumb or moronic or whatever.

I would also at least like to not have my vote on Blade

Losing my vote doesn't even matter anymore, that's a good bonus part of this.

oh yeah the other thing I forgot to say about wallz that's giving me pause is that I'm not actually so sure that scum is having him deliver the kill assuming that there's a choice. Aside from me, he was probably the player drawing the most scrutiny at the end of day 1 and there's a decent likelihood of drawing some kind of investigative power towards him

so I'm not so convinced that Kirby actually prevented that kill by rb'ing wallz

Yeah sorry this isn't fun. We already probably have two scum to lynch (one who is confirmed) and all you did was take over the day to flex your E-peen.

Not fully caught up yet (havent read first 4 pages of this topic ) but I'm at Kirby and Wallz claiming.

Want to comment on the people Chang is looking at.

Kirby is solid, not really worried that you'd kill him anyway, but just want to make it known again I town read him.

Corrik is an easy lynch on scum today. But I support using this position to get more out of him.

Wallz is not confirmed scum by Kirby being town. I think it may be a mistake to assume the kill was stopped by a role block when there are so many things that could have happened. One of them is in the rules Peaf posted - scum could have just used a poison/delayed kill last night. I can see why Kirby felt it was worth claiming. Corrik's has no town motivation for doing what he did.

Wallz is not confirmed town by claiming backup either. But if he is scum then he has an ability that takes dead TOWN powers. And that is perfectly possible. Would also explain why he felt he can say he was confirmable.

Chang, i defended you day 1 for one reason and one reason only. After your first post i got it in my head that you could gift something cool to a certain flavor if only you could find them, and that's how you knew that flavor was in the game. So i voted for you to say "hey that's me" and then unvoted you to give you n1 to cook.

Your play didn't factor into it beyond that.

That's a really good point that i had not considered.

And yeah I'd do the same thing in Chang's shoes. No way scum gets that role, not even in a lea game, so he's now firmly taken himself out of consideration today.

The point of the evil study group is to take the place of the characters in the prime reality, so I absolutely expect scum to have a "steals town power and scans as innocent" role, just like Lahabrea in my final fantasy 14 mafia
